The question we’ve been getting a lot since we launched Get Comfortable is: “I see the list of Get Comfortable‘s business partners, but what are they doing to contribute? And how can I support them?”
So we wanted to let you know how you can support the businesses who support Get Comfortable. Scroll through and read carefully, and just know there are many, many ways your dollars can find their way into this benevolence fund, 100% of which we’ll give away to the nonprofit community at the end of 2018.
Whenever you see the Get Comfortable IPA on tap—at restaurants, bars, and growler shops—feel good knowing that every pint you buy contributes to the fund. Many thanks to Savannah Distributing and our generous retail partners for making this happen!
Throughout March and April 2018, all the Athens Your Pie locations (plus the Buckhead store!) will feature a special craft pizza, $1 of which from every sale will be donated to the Get Comfortable fund. Additionally, $1 from every Creature Comforts pint sold during this time will also be donated to the fund.
Throughout February and March, 5% of Wednesday biscuit sales from all Athens area Golden Pantry stores will go into the Get Comfortable program. Additionally, the Prince Avenue, College Station, and Broad Street stores will have Get Comfortable t-shirts for sale. The profits from these shirt sales will go to the fund as well.
Now through June 30, 2018, $1 will be donated to Get Comfortable for every phone sold at WOM’s Verizon Wireless stores in Athens, Washington, and Watkinsville. Just say “Get Comfortable” while purchasing your phone at a participating location to add another $10 donation!
100% of the profits from all GSCAD’s aesthetic dermatological services performed between now and April 4, 2018 will be donated to Get Comfortable.
Throughout 2018, if you choose to buy or sell your home with Ben Butler at Keller Williams Realty, 10% of his commission will be donated to Get Comfortable. You can find him here or just mention “Get Comfortable” when you contact him.
Athens TLC Dental will be donating 5% of the proceeds from all its new patient appointments throughout the year of 2018 to the Get Comfortable fund.
Satisfactory is the official merchandise producer for this year’s Get Comfortable campaign. All the Get Comfortable t-shirt prints you’ll find in our online store were created at a significantly reduced rate to direct as many dollars as possible to this cause. Likewise, any Get Comfortable retail items sold at the Indigo Child and Epiphany (listed above) were priced similarly.
Throughout the 2018 Get Comfortable campaign, Oneta Woodworks will design, fabricate, and sell furniture created from reclaimed wood sourced from CCBC’s new brewery. All of the profits will be donated to the Get Comfortable campaign.
A percentage of sales from services rendered between now and April 4, 2018 will be donated to the Get Comfortable fund.
