The question we get a lot in relation to the Get Comfortable campaign is: “I see the list of Get Comfortable‘s business partners, but what are they doing to contribute?”
So we wanted to let you know how you can support the businesses who support Get Comfortable. Scroll through and read carefully, and just know there are many, many ways your dollars can find their way into this benevolence fund, 100% of which we’ll give away to the nonprofit community at the end of 2019.
Whenever you see the Get Comfortable IPA on tap—at restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and growler shops—feel good knowing that every pint you buy contributes to the fund. Many thanks to Savannah Distributing and our generous retail partners for forfeiting your funds as well!
1000 Faces and Mad Dawg Donuts—a new offering from Nedza’s Waffles—have teamed up to create Donuts & Coffee Love. DCL is a fundraiser series held at 1000 Faces once a month on select Sundays from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Throughout 2019, 10% of DCL proceeds will go to the Get Comfortable campaign. Check either their Facebook page or our Events section to stay up to date!
Athens TLC Dental will be donating 5% of the proceeds from all its new patient appointments throughout 2019 to the Get Comfortable Fund.
Throughout 2019, Element Funding’s Athens office will donate $10 for every loan closed.
Join the friendly staff at our downtown Hotel Indigo on ‘Get Comfy Fridays,” where the Get Comfortable IPA will be featured and 100% of the profits will be donated to the campaign.
100% of the profits from all GSCAD’s aesthetic dermatological services performed between January and April 2019 will be donated to Get Comfortable.
Throughout February and March, 5% of Wednesday biscuit sales from all Athens area Golden Pantry stores were donated to the Get Comfortable program. Additionally, the Prince Avenue, College Station, and Broad Street stores will have Get Comfortable t-shirts for sale. The profits from these shirt sales will go to the fund as well.
A percentage of sales from services rendered between January and April 2019 were donated to the Get Comfortable fund.
Throughout 2019, 100% of all profits generated from residential service sales on Thirsty Thursdays will be donated to Get Comfortable. Get thirsty, starve landfills!
Whenever you see the Nedza’s Waffles food cart onsite at the brewery, 10% of sales go toward Get Comfortable.
Satisfactory is the official merchandise producer for this year’s Get Comfortable campaign. All the Get Comfortable t-shirt prints you’ll find in our online store were created at a significantly reduced rate to direct as many dollars as possible to this cause.
Throughout 2019, 50% of proceeds from Shakti’s Get Comfy classes will go directly to the Get Comfortable Fund, as will 30% of Shakti’s Get Comfy merchandise profits. Finally, there will be several special yoga sessions hosted at Creature Comforts and 1000 Faces Coffee to benefit the program. Check this calendar to learn more.
Throughout 2019, the Sign Bros. will donate 10% of the revenue they receive from start-up business clients towards the Get Comfortable campaign.
Throughout the months of February, March, and April, 5% of all of The Place’s Monday sales will be donated to the Get Comfortable Fund.
Throughout 2019, 5% of all business card purchases will be donated to the campaign. And whenever “Get Comfortable” is mentioned on a new order, they’ll up the donation to 15%.
Now through June 30, 2018, $1 will be donated to Get Comfortable for every phone sold at WOM’s Verizon Wireless stores in Athens, Washington, and Watkinsville. Just say “Get Comfortable” while purchasing your phone at a participating location to add another $10 donation!
