We love our hometown of Athens, GA—its artists, musicians, its problem solvers and go-getters. And we want to do our part to invest in the local creative community. Our most direct method? Funding grants that go toward the creation of new art, professional development, and sustaining organizations that provide services to artists or showcase their work.
This year, we will identify Get Artistic partners (i.e., grant recipients) before moving into the program’s season of emphasis (August – October). We’re thrilled to announce that we will review grant proposals alongside our 2020 Get Artistic Advisory Council, comprised of local community leaders and arts professionals:
Their partnership and expertise will help us to maximize Get Artistic to best serve our community and create a more resilient, more beautiful Athens.
Get Artistic 2020 grant applications are live through July 17, 2020. Click here to learn more.
You can also sign up for the Get Artistic newsletter for regular updates on exhibitions, events, and other opportunities!
